Frankincense essential oil is steam-distilled from the resin of Boswellia trees, a genus of hardy, drought-resistant trees native to the arid regions of Oman, Somalia, Ethiopia, and India. When the bark is scored, the tree weeps a milky-white sap that hardens into golden resin tears — the raw material for both incense and essential oil.

Add a few drops to an ultrasonic diffuser, dilute in a carrier oil for topical use (start low, 1–2%), or blend into your own rollerball and room-spray recipes. Always patch-test first.
